The Caravan Club’s Black Knowl site near Brockenhurst in the New Forest is hugely popular.
It has 127 pitches – nearly all of them grass – and is set in the midst of the ancient royal hunting forest of William the Conqueror and which is now a National Park. It is particularly popular with walkers but also has Bucklers Hard, the National Motor Museum and Exbury Gardens and steam railway on the doorstep.
