A cold but beautiful day in Carlton Gardens, London today overlooking The Mall. Although every city in Europe is on an even higher alert level than just a few weeks ago London today seemed to be adopting a very light touch with no visible evidence of more police or armed forces. Possibly – and hopefully – we are relying on good quality intelligence rather than a very obvious police presence.
