Enjoying some time in and around Orvieto, Umbria, Italy. Orvieto is between Rome and Florence and is a delight. Blue skies, sunshine and 26 degrees plus rounds it off!

This is an exceptional site. Camping Spiaggia Lago di Molveno is located right up against the lake with mountains to one side and directly behind and it will come as no surprise that it is the location that is the winner. It also sports a bar and restaurant and Molveno itself is a smashing spot – too busy for some in season but deserted last week when I was there – and you just need to take care with your map as best not to select the mountain route!!
I was on my way north out of Italy heading for Austria having passed Verona and Trento.
Next stop: The Brenner Pass.
