Quorn in Leicestershire is a great spot to visit. Trains do not stop at the station during the week (they do at weekends) but it is still well worth a visit with plenty of parking – and a first class coffee shop.

It was opened in 1899 as part of the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire’s London extension which later became the Great Central Railway.
